The purpose of this conference is the celebration of Gert Sabidussi's eightieth birthday by bringing together combinatorialists working in the fields related to his work. Thus, the conference will cover a broad section of discrete mathematics and theoretical computer science. In particular, it will pertain to algebraic properties of finite and infinite graphs, groups and graphs, cycles and rays, Hamiltonian and Eulerian graphs, matchings, graph products, graph algorithms, and last, but not least, the work of Gert Sabidussi.

The excursion will take us to Ston and Mali Ston Ston & Mali Ston
two beautiful, small fortified towns, about 60 km north of Dubrovnik.

Ston is surrounded by a high 1km city wall in the shape of a
pentagon. The towns are connected by a defensive wall, 5.5km long,
complete with 40 towers and 5 forts, that has been likened to a minature
"Great Wall of China". (Today, 5 km of wall and 20 towers remain.)
The wall was built to protect the natural salt pans, as salt was
one of the most important resources of the Republic of Dubrovnik.

Salt is still produced, but currently Ston and Mali Ston are also
known for their oysters. We will be able to sample the production at
supper in the restaurant Koruna well known for its fish and seafood dishes.

On the way to Ston and Mali Ston we might stop at Zaton, known for
historic houses and a cave with stalactites and stalagmites.
