Gholamreza Haffari
I am a computer scientist working on Statistical Machine Learning and its application to natural
language and bioinformatics. Currently, I am a PostDoc with
Sam Aparicio and
Sohrab Shah in BCCRC
(BC Cancer Research Center) working on Bioinformatics.
Before that, I was a doctoral student in Computer Science at Simon Fraser University
working with Anoop Sarkar
in the NLP group.
I have accepted an Assistant Prof. position from the
School of Information Technology in
Monash University (Melbourne, Australia), and will join them from July 2011.
