SharifCE Team in RoboCup 1999, 2000, and 2001

SharifCE, a robotics research team at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, got established in 1997 in the Computer Engineering Department of S.U.T. by Dr. Mansour Jamzad as the leader and a group of young ambitious robot-loving undergrad and grad students. I was a SharifCE co-founding member from its beginning in 1997 to summer 2001. SharifCE participated in RoboCup international competitions and won the world championship in Middle Size Soccer Robot League in 1999 Sweden, Europe championship in Europe RoboCup 2000 Netherlands, and the world third place in 2000 Australia. In 2001, SharifCE was awarded the Best Engineering Challenge Award for its contribution to machine vision in robot soccer.

Here is a movie of our robots (and a little bit ourselves) in RoboCup 1999.
