The First IEEE International Workshop on Multimedia Systems and Networking (WMSN’05) in conjunction with The 24th IEEE International Performance Computing and Communications Conference (IPCCC 2005) April 7-9, 2005 - Phoenix, Arizona, USAWith the rapid development of personal computers and the widespread penetration of broadband accesses, multimedia services are getting increasingly popular among users and have contributed to a significant amount of today’s network traffic. The objective of this workshop is to present state-of-the-art research and developing activities contributing to all facets of multimedia systems and networking. We are inviting both theoretical and experimental papers as well as work-in-progress reports. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

We solicit only original and unpublished papers. Accepted papers will be published in IPCCC proceedings by the IEEE press. A submission should not exceed 20 double spaced pages with a font size of no less than 11pt, and should include a cover page with author names and affiliations, as well as the fax, telephone number, and e-mail address for the contact author. Please submit in PDF format by email to Prof. Jiangchuan Liu (jcliu@cs.sfu.ca). An acknowledgement with a paper ID will be generated. Please contact TPC chairs if no acknowledgement is received within three days after submission.
