We decided to look at experimental design this time. The book we have chosen is called "The Design and Analysis of Computer Experiments" by Santner et al. It's avail in the library. You can also find errata and the table of content at Santner's page.
I suggest to meet once a week to go over chapters or parts of them and to:
|Jan 21||Torsten|| 1 - Physical Experiments and Computer Experiments
2 - Preliminaries
|Jan 28||Paul + Yonas||3.1-3.2 - Predicting Output from Computer Experiments|
|Feb 04||Paul + Yonas||3.3-3.4 - Predicting Output from Computer Experiments|
|Feb 11||Usman + Alireza||4.1 - Additional Topics in Prediction Methodology|
|Feb 18||Usman + Alireza|| 4.2 - Additional Topics in Prediction Methodology
Also have a look at this paper.
