This course covers topics and techniques in animation.
Topics include:
- Historical Perspective
- Mastery of basic techniques to interpolate the movement of
objects, forward and inverse kinematics
- Familiarity with physically based animation, energy
minimization, and constraint-based animation.
- Exposure to algorithms to animate the natural motions of the
human figure such as walking, reaching, and talking.
- Exposure to algorithms to model and animate natural
phenomena such as plants, water, clouds, and fire.
- Prerequisites:

CMPT 361, MACM 316.
